Last week we were able to explore some of the elements of our current planner at the Cleveland Metropark's Zoo! During our visit we examined several different ecosystems and the various abiotic and biotic factors that make each ecosystem unique. We also discovered that the balance between those abiotic and biotic factors is what can lead to change in an environment. Sometime that leads to a complete transformation of an ecosystem. The tiger exhibit (depicted below) explained the connection between logging in certain areas of the world and the amount of pray left for tigers to hunt. This imbalance caused a change in the environment and in the food chain.
